Notes on Licensing

Delivery. Stock photos are delivered in electronic format by email or ftp. Images will be delivered immediately upon credit card payment through Paypal. Note that you don't have to have a Paypal account to pay by credit card. It's easy to use, and it's fast and secure. foodportraits.com is Paypal verified.

Pricing. Except for internet and powerpoint use, pricing is based on how the image will be used (e.g. placement, size, duration, and frequency of use). That is why the license form on the left asks very specific questions. Please be as specific as possible. Discounts are available for multiple images and multiple uses.

Picture Sizes. Except for the travel pictures, almost all the stock photography on foodportraits.com have been shot with 16 or 22 megapixel Hasselblad digital camera backs. These images are suitable for any printing up to whatever size. Crop the photo to your requirements. You do not have to worry about how big they blow up.

Not every image can be licensed. Depending on your type of usage (editorial vs. advertising), some photographs may not be available for licensing and therefore should not have linked to this license page. However, some images may slip through. If this happens, I will suggest alternative images that you can consider.

Special Pricing for Internet and Powerpoint Use. Licensing for internet usage and powerpoint presentations are generally $50 USD per photograph. In a small number of situations, the fee may be higher depending on size, placement, and geographic coverage.
